What to expect

A typical visit, day by day

Arrival day

Make your way to a recommended hotel near the clinic in Gangnam (we’ll help you choose one and share easy routes) and rest after your flight.

Examination & surgery

A thorough exam confirms your plan. If everything is right, surgery often follows the same day or the next — it takes only minutes per eye.

Next-day check

Your surgeon confirms healing and vision. This essential check happens before you travel home.

Rest & explore Seoul

With your eyes settling, enjoy gentle time in Gangnam — cafés, shopping, and sights, all close by.

Fly home — we stay with you

Once your post-op check confirms you’re healing well, you fly home with clear aftercare instructions for your recovery.

FAQ

Travel & stay questions

Do I need a visa?

Many nationalities, including Mongolian citizens, can enter Korea for short stays without a visa — but rules change, so always confirm current requirements for your passport before you travel. Our coordinators can point you to the right information.

Can a family member come with me?

Absolutely, and we recommend it — having a companion is a great help on surgery day. We’re happy to assist your companion with directions and local tips too.

Do you book my flights and hotel?

You book your own travel, but we make it easy — we recommend trusted hotels near the clinic and help you choose dates that fit your procedure and recovery. We’ll also share simple routes for getting from your hotel to the clinic.

What should I bring?

Your passport, your most recent eye prescription if you have one, any current medications, and comfortable clothing. Sunglasses are useful for after surgery — and we provide protective eyewear too.

Where will I stay?

We suggest hotels within a short distance of the clinic in Gangnam (Sinsa, Apgujeong, Yeoksam areas), so travel to your appointments is quick and easy while your eyes recover.
